“Spider-Man: No Way Home” is bringing back old villains from previous Spider-Man movies.
All of the Spider-Man/Marvel fans have been waiting a long time for this trailer to drop. The trailer dropped on Aug. 22, and this trailer has shocked fans all over the world.
With more than 355.5 million views, this movie trailer was the most-watched movie trailer in a 24-hour period. The previous record was “Avengers: Endgame,” which had gotten 289 million views.
The “Spider-Man: No Way Home” movie trailer was an awesome, crazy, mind-blowing, insane trailer to watch. This was the trailer people have been waiting all year to see.
This preview showed us what to expect for this new movie, which will be released in December, and it did not disappoint.
And from what the producers and writers of “Spider-Man: No Way Home” have shown us, I believe it will be the biggest movie of the year.
In the trailer, Peter Parker goes to Doctor Strange for help to try to make Peter’s life normal again. Because in the previous Spider-Man movie with Tom Holland, his Spider-Man identity gets compromised. For those who don’t know, one of Doctor Strange’s powers includes making spells. In this case, he makes a spell to make everyone forget that Parker is Spider-Man.
Marvel Studios is doing something with this movie that it has never done before. It is bringing back generations of villains from the other Spider-Man movies over the years. And it’s going to bring in the old and attract new Spider-Man fans to watch this movie.
That is another reason this movie will succeed: the villains. It’s already confirmed that the villain from “Spider-Man 2” (with Tobey Maguire), Doctor Octopus (Alfred Molina), is going to be in this movie. In the trailer, it shows Doctor Octopus’ tentacles smashing onto the floor. Then the villain says, “Hello, Peter.”
Another villain to return is the Green Goblin. The trailer didn’t show him, but it showed one of his pumpkin bombs exploding. Willem Dafoe, who was Norman Osborn (Green Goblin) in the first movie, will reprise his role.
And we can’t forget about Electro (Jamie Foxx), who is from “The Amazing Spider-Man” with Andrew Garfield. Though the trailer did not show Foxx, it showed his character’s awesome electricity bolts.
This trailer shows a sandstorm … maybe Marvel could be hinting that another villain of this movie could be the villain named Sandman.
The trailer also showed something kind of blurry that looked like a person with a tail trying to hit Parker, but it could be either the villain lizard or even the villain scorpion. We will have to wait and see what Marvel decides to do with this villain.
It’s also rumored that the old Spider-Men (Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield) are coming back, but Marvel hasn’t confirmed if they will be coming back on the big screen. Stay tuned.
